  • Students will be billed at the lower tuition rate for the M.A.T. (currently $28,200 for three semesters compared to $44,820 for two semesters).
  • Students will be considered graduate students and will be eligible to live off campus thus saving on the cost of room and board.
  • Students will not be eligible for undergraduate financial aid.
  • Students will fill out their FAFSA as an independent student instead of their parents filling out the FAFSA. They will receive financial aid as a graduate student including Stafford loans which can cover both tuition and living expenses. There will also be limited scholarships offered through the Earlham College Graduate Programs in Education.
  • Students will be eligible to participate in co-curricular activities including athletic teams. Students doing a 4 plus 1 have always been eligible to participate in co-curricular activities including athletic teams if they have a year of eligibility left.

Earlham College, an independent, residential college, aspires to provide the highest-quality undergraduate education in the liberal arts, including the sciences, shaped by the distinctive perspectives of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers).
