Inspiring, Academics-panel | Earlham College Skip to Content

Our faculty members are inspiring and world-class. They combine their love of scholarship with their teaching. All Earlham professors actively engage students as partners in learning, and an unusually high number, 85 percent, also conduct research with their students. Students learn to be colleagues as part of their education. That’s part of why Earlhamites are all on a first-name basis, from students to staff, professors to the College president.

Earlham College, an independent, residential college, aspires to provide the highest-quality undergraduate education in the liberal arts, including the sciences, shaped by the distinctive perspectives of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers).
